What's in a Name?
Our 44th Season features Charlotte, Rapunzel, Rachel, Alexander and Charlie. Children, spiders, princesses and classic cartoons all visit our stage. Over the past 44 years, the name Pumpkin Theatre has become synonymous with quality, affordable theater experiences for families and school children, and a place to come together and enjoy the magic of theater.
Now in my third year as Artistic Director it’s been great hearing why the name Pumpkin Theatre has been important to the community. It’s been fun finding the grandparents who came to see shows as a child, brought their children when they were older and now are bringing their grandchildren, meeting the school children who are getting or who received their first experience with theater through Pumpkin, and listening to the mothers and fathers who have enjoyed laughing with their children for a fun filled afternoon. We take great pride in producing quality shows the entire family can enjoy and hope you will both take advantage of the benefits of subscribing, and consider a tax-deductable donation; both which help us to keep our ticket prices low.
This season please join us and bring some friends along. Your word of mouth speaks louder than any ads we could run. And that’s "What’s in a name?" That’s how Pumpkin has grown over the years; by reputation and word of mouth, friends telling friends, and family telling family has been our best advertising.
