An orphaned teenager, Charlie Parker was given
the attributes of his idol,
Hawkman, by Matter Master's mentachem rod. Going by the
alias Golden Eagle, Charlie aided the Justice League on a few
cases, and was awarded access to their satellite headquarters.
The Golden Eagle soon joined the West Coast auxiliary of the
Teen Titans before the group's disbandment. (JH)
